Polish Cabbage Salad (Salatka z Kapusty)
1 small head of green or red cabbage, shredded
2 tart apples, peeled and grated
3-4 medium size dill pickles, cut into small pieces
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sugar
pinch of salt
chopped fresh dill or parsley
Place cabbage, apples, and pickles into a large bowl. In a smaller bowl, mix lemon juice, olive oil, sugar, and salt. Pour into the larger bowl and mix. Top with chopped fresh dill or parsley. Makes 6-8 servings. Smacznego!
